Product Description

Avoid tricky blind spots when passing or changing lanes with CIPA’s 2” round convex HotSpot mirror. Easily mounts to original factory mirror featuring convenient stick-on mounting. HotSpot mirrors may be placed anywhere you wish but are typically placed on the bottom outside corner of the original mirror. The desired placement varies from person to person. To find the placement that is right for you, start by placing a piece of folded tape on the back of the HotSpot and sticking it onto your OE mirror where you think you might want it. Then sit in your car and look through the HotSpot. Keep adjusting the placement until it suits your needs. Finally, remove the folded tape, peel the adhesive backing tape off the HotSpot and apply it permanently. Expand your Horizons

The mirror eliminates the blind spot entirely. A great help.
It comes with no instructions for installation, e.g. where to position it. It goes in the upper left corner of the drivers side mirror.

This is a good drivers side blindspot mirror and gives more visibility than the small round one that I have previosly used. I bought two of these , putting one on both sides of my Ford EDGE and find that the one on the passenger side is pretty much useless as the rear image from this mirror is too small and makes things look very far away when they are in fact quite close.
I would highly recommend this mirror for the driver side but not for the passenger side.

This mirror is very useful in reducing the blind spot and changing lanes, especially for people with limited mobility of the neck. But you have to be very careful in picking the right spot to stick it on your side mirror. Sit on the driver seat and have another person walk around the side so you can see where this mirror provides the best view of the blind spot.
