as good as sony a33 kit lens,

While the sony a33 doesn't have a 28-300mm lens, I find this one works fine on mine.
looked at several more expensive lens in this catagory, this one operates just as smooth as the more expensive models. lens requires good light for the continous auto focus to work, it works fine in manual focus even in low light.I use it outdoors during the day with complete continous auto focus working good. even the panorama works while it didn't with some of the more expensive lens I tried. this is not a macro lens! At the widest view the pictures are not perfect but from about 55mm to 250mm pictures seem fine |
