Editorial Reviews

Review

"Overall, I would rate this text as very good, and would encourage colleagues to consider it for possible adoption." "The writing style is crisp and not pedantic nor preachy."

"The short, simple sentences, clear examples and vocabulary level are appropriate for our students. The many charts, graphs and illustrations also help…. The tone is respectful and personal."

"I think the online activities are wonderful! Students need to get familiar with the computer." --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

The best basic text for learning strategies I've seen. I use it as my basic text for my Summer Institute for Secondary and Post-Secondary Students.
