My cousin asked me to play at at their wedding ceremony. I purchased this book thinking/hoping it would be one-stop shopping. It was; however, I found the arrangements of the pieces to be on the simpler side and also not necessarily 'complete': Pachelbel's Canon; Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring; Wedding March; Bridal Chorus; Air; etc. . . I should have tried to check it out at a brick-and-mortar store first.

Some nice things about it are that the table of contents categorized the songs into different components of a church-type wedding ceremony, so that anyone planning a wedding can have suggestions (and music!) readily available for things like, processional, recessional, meditation, etc. There is a lot more music than I expected in this compilation.

I just had to add my 2 cents as the other two reviewers didn't like this book. I love it. I'm not a great pianist, but I am often asked to play for church events. I have used this for several weddings and other occasions. I got on Amazon to order one for my brother-in-law's birthday because he is always borrowing it to play for weddings. (I'm buying him one because I know he likes it, not because I mind borrowing it, just had to clarify.)CLASSIC WEDDING COLLECTION PIANO SOLO

Whoever was editing this book must have been asleep at the wheel. Only a few of the arrangements are any good, and some are downright awful. The Schubert Ave Maria arrangement is atrocious - riddled with wrong notes, missing accidentals, and they didn't even bother to get the composer's name correct. The Pachelbel Canon arrangement is lousy. Many of the pieces have been written in the wrong key (yes, I know sometimes this is to simplify, but it still bugs me). The list goes on.

The slogan for the publisher claims "Quality in Printed Music". It's not the case here. Steer clear...
