Does Not Work,
This review is from: CLEANER,DSH,AUTO,LMN,45OZ (Kitchen)
I've used Method dishwashing detergent for the last few years. I ran out and didn't have time to go to Target, so I purchased the 7th Generation detergent from my local grocery store. While I appreciate that 7th Generation is an eco-friendly company, it's only eco-friendly if the product works. This one doesn't. I always rinse my dishes, but this detergent still leaves food residue or coffee rings. I've had to either run the cycle again or wash my dishes by hand, which is completely wasteful. I've had success with other 7th Generation products in the past but not this one. I will not be purchasing it again and would not recommend it to others.

does not clean!,

This detergent doesn't clean the dished at all, sometimes i start the dishwasher one more time(which does not change the result) or i do hand washing after machine wash, i am really disappointed. The other reviews about Seventh Generation products says some of their products contain sodium lauryl sulfate and petroleum-based ingredients i started to think about Seventh Generation products again. A company that claims they are eco-friendly and all natural, should know petroleum-based ingredients and sodium lauryl sulfate are harmful for both humans and environment! I am not buying seventh generation products anymore.

I generally love Seventh Generation products, but the dishwasher detergent just doesn't seem to get the job done. Even with rinsing, it doesn't get my dishes clean. I will continue to buy other Seventh Generation products, but not this one.

Non-Toxic Dishes,
This review is from: CLEANER,DSH,AUTO,LMN,45OZ (Kitchen)
Wow. I see 3 of 3 reviewers gave this one star already, so I had to go double-check my product to make sure it's the same one. My experience with this stuff is positive, except for the part where I wince as I reach for my wallet.I started buying non-toxic dishwasher detergent because I don't want to eat any toxic chemicals if my mediocre dishwasher leaves them behind. Being environmentally friendly is a bonus, but not one I'd pay 4x as much as regular dishwasher gel for. This does the job: my dishwasher disappoints me precisely as much as it did with fancy brand-name toxic dishwasher gel. It does no better or worse with the switch. It doesn't tap-dance the hula, scour pans, or load itself into the dishwasher, but I'm pretty happy with it and keep buying more. |
