I studied this book over the past few days and passed the exam today with a 69/80 (50 is passing). It covers almost everything on the exam and it's a quick and easy read. I would definitely recommend buying the Intro to Psych book and taking that exam first because this exam builds upon many of the same topics.

Really good book...I didn't know I had to take a CLEP until a week before the exam, so I rushed out and grabbed this book. I studied it for about 2 hours a day for 5 days, as well as did questions in the back and in the official CLEP study guide. I took the exam this morning and passed. It has everything you need to know for the exam =)

Just scored 73/80 after studying 5 days total. No prior knowledge of psychology (well, I took it in HS 16 yrs ago).

I purchased this book the night before taking the Intro to Psych CLEP exam. I had been studying InstantCert.com for about 4 days prior. This book was an excellent supplement to the information I had learned on InstantCert.

The InstantCert info was like building the knowledge base with facts and concepts.

Then this REA book took all those facts and tied them all together in a readable format that solidified the entire subject. It was a fast read - about 2 hours for 100 pages.

The practice tests are instrumental in performing well on the CLEP. Do those tests until you get the answers right and have a good understanding of those answers.

I studied this book for like three hours and passed the CLEP. this was my only study guide. all of the information on the test was in this book!

I have to admit, I thought I had the basic knowledge of educational psychology, but this book really helped me learn the things I wasn't so familiar with and brush up on the things I already knew.

I just took the tests first, then went back and reviewed all of the material that I got incorrect. I passed my test with flying colors and this is the only study material I used!

I have never taken ed psych before and i used this as my sole study guide. I passed the exam easily yesterday. It does seem like there is info on the test that was not in the book, but the book gives you most of the concepts you need to figure out stuff you don't know on the exam. I would recommend this as a study guide for the exam.

This is another passable test, the material covered is excellent. I recommend the following, before taking this test take the Intro to Psychology test and/or the Intro to Socialogy test. This test builds off of these other tests for your overall knowledge. I rank this test on par with the Human Growth and Development test. It is slightly more difficult than the first two tests I mentioned above, but still very passable and it builds off your previous knowledge. This book is what you need for this test.

I used this book to study for the CLEP and passed easily today! I did not use any other study guides and this helped me feel very confident for this exam. I have taken many CLEP exams and used REA study guides to pass all of them. Buy this today if you want to pass this exam!

I agree with other reviewers that this study guide is worth every penny. The two full length exams, along with their detailed answers as to why, was extremely helpful. Lets you know what areas you are weak in and gives you the written resources in the book to brush up on those areas. A one stop study guide. Look no further!

I just took this CLEP and passed with a 58. I used this book, and Peterson's tests. The book gives you all the info you need in order to PASS this test. I read it cover to cover, took the exams, and went over all the explanations to the answers. If you can pass all the practice exams with 85%, you will pass the CLEP! Make sure you use Peterson's tests too!
