Clones, Chimps, and death angels, oh my!,
By I.M. Davis "I. M. Davis" (Kingston, ON Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Clone (Hardcover)
Fantastic book. When I was given the book, I assumed, judging by the cover, that it was a comedy. And it was, in a manner of speaking. But it was also an engrossing sf story, with allegorical tales of revolutionary chimps and a moral not unlike Stranger in a Strange Land. Clone, in my books, earned every one of those five stars, and then some.

Humour of the wonderful,
By Tony Crisp "Cristolfo" (Swansea, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Clone (Paperback)
This was my first Cowper book. The story is so full of humour and also what I call good old science fiction that I loved it. In fact I have read it about three times, and probably will again. My only dissapointment was the ending, which I thought a bit lame considering the possibilities of a sort of gestalt superman who is the hero. But if you want to be taken out of yourself, here is a good read.
