After replacing a failed PT-130 on my Tracker with the identical product i've had nothing but headaches. The replacement worked fine for about 2 months, but eventually shorted and melted my entire wire harness from the trim all the way to the inside of my motor. Based on my experiences with 2 of these products - both with faulty trim motors - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. Now not only do i need to replace the trim again, but im also in the market for a new motor. This is completely unacceptable.

this is the way to go if you outboard doesn't have tilt/trim. i have a 90 hp evinrude that i got tired of picking up. very easy to install. took me about 3 hours but i was taking my time. i only had to make a minor modification to the steering bracket since it moved the motor back 6 inches. bolted right on by using the standard bolt holes and bolts. comes with all the hardware you need. the wiring harness made it simple to wire up. mounted the two relays, routed the wires, and hooked it to the battery. to top it all off, the free shipping made the price too good to pass up. thanks boaters world ([...] if you order directly through them or [...] they will pay the sales tax, give you free shipping, and a 10% discount which is the price they offer it for on amazon). fyi, no shipping to po boxes.
