It is a very good book for VLSI learner. The content is detailed. But the price of the book is a little high.

Not only does this book contain basic introductory information to digital circuits and VLSI design, it also has been updated with the latest research on important and interesting research topics in digital circuit and VLSI design. It cites many papers published within the past years.

Great as a reference, a refresher for experts, or for undergraduates.

This book offers a good review of basics as well as more advanced CMOS design. While some sections are very lacking in examples, there is a lot of good information buried in the reading which keeps it interesting enough to actually read through (assuming you are pretty into what you do/read). The HDL examples are useful if you have access to the design tools you need to actually play with.

This book is brand new with a hard cover.
The paper quality is perfect.
Also the shipment is fast.
CMOS VLSI design is a very important textbook for vlsi design courses.
The book is fairly difficult but worth reading in detail.

Satisfied with purchase. Textbook was in great quality, and shipped fast. Only thing I did not like was that it had several "used" stickers on the cover, which I had to remove.

the book is not so good as the jan m rabaey...the only reason i bought this book is because ..i'm forced to buy by the prof
