Excellent book to use as a reference in case management and to prepare for national certification.

This book was excellent in preparing for the CMSA certification review course.
I passed on the first try. I also used the Anderson CE review course for case management that goes along with this book. It provides the page number for finding the answer to every question. The other book that I found very helpful was the CCM certification study guide. It had lots of questions and asked each question so many times that you had no choice but to learn the material. When I took the exam there were probably 2 questions that were familiar to me; but, do to all of the practice exams that I took and reading the CMSA core curriculum for case management 2 times: I was extremely well prepared. My advice to anyone preparing for the CMSA certification examination for the CCM certification. Read the CMSA core curriculum for case management and practice as many examination questions as you can find over and over again. Good Luck.

Please read this book before you enter the field of case management.
The responsiblities you are undertaking may make you thing twice before going into the field. It is a great book if Case Management is your next career leap. A must read.....
Workman's Comp Case Manager

I just took, and passed, CCMC's CCM exam on the first try. Written in outline form, this book packs a lot of punch. Not one single word is wasted. Every chapter is relevant, and contains an amazing amount of detail. My copy is now heavily highlighted, and on my office desk as a reference book. I would highly recommend it to anyone prepping for the exam.

CMSA Core Curriculum for Case Management

The format of this book was not what I expected. The whole book is in an outline style and difficult reading in that format, for me. I suppose it will tell me what I want to know, but it will be a very boring read.

I am very pleased with the Case management book I purchased from Amazon.com. Next I will get the study guide.

To really do justice to this book, I have to tell you I wanted to destroy this book when I first started "reading" it because it is presented in OUTLINE FORM. It is a required book for the Case Management Certification course. HOWEVER, it is now my top listed favorite for retrieving information accurately and rapidly. This is a must book for seasoned Case Managers, my category, and for students seeking clarification and language. I am a "pilot" also and order through my mate's account with Amazon.
