Good, but needs improvement,

This device definitely works; it lets you connect your air tank to the remote coil, allowing you to carry your tank in your belt. A few weeks after I bought mine, the release valve started to hiss. It has a self-bleeding connector, which is actually a disadvantage because it's more complicated inside and prone to breaking. I bought a non-self-bleeding connector, and the difference is that now, I need to fire my gun about ten to twenty times to empty the hose after disconnecting my CO2 tank, and it doesn't waste CO2 hissing like crazy when I screw in my tank.
I also needed to install a thicker o-ring into my Tippmann A-5's tombstone adapter/screw in order to attach the remote line directly to the bottom of my gun/marker instead of the rear of the handle. Overall, it's a great buy because it reduces the weight of your marker and makes it easier to go prone and aim in general without the air tank in your way. I highly recommend it.

Okay. I got this remote for christmas and 3 months later I went to paly with it. Second time I screw it in it blows my tanks o-ring. Turns out the threads to screw into the tank were fouled up so I had to take a chainsaw file to fix it. Okay next weekend I go to play woodsball and 10 minutes in the coil EXPLODES. The line blows right above the tank adapter. Most definately do not recommend.

Ordered 2 of these for my brother and I. The gauge on the first one blew off and air leaks. Second one does not screw on properly and leaked. Used some duct tape to make them work

This is a GREAT deal for a remote line. Got mine for $17 - which is half the price of most other lines. It works great with my Alpha Black. If there was one small thing to complain about - for new users, this came sealed in a ziplock bag without any instructions at all. So if you've never used a remote line before, it's easy enough to figure out, but you might want to look up an instructional video on youtube.
You really can't beat this price!

Arriving on time, I inspected the product, everything seemed intact, if not bulkier than anticipated.
I looked the tubing over, and everything looked great (something I would suggest for anything you intend to contain compressed gas.) As I screwed a standard 20 oz bottle of co2, air leaked like crazy. Even when completely attached, air leaks. Can't say it's the company's fault, but I'd save your money.

I actually purchased mine at a sporting goods store for about $60 if I can remember and I have had absolutely no problems. As long as you know how to use it and take care of it, then it should last a long time. The best part about this product is that you no longer have to deal with a tank sticking out the back of your gun. I have yet to replace anything on the coil remote and I have had it for about 5 years now.

I received this remote in great condition and in a reasonable timeframe.
I like the quick disconect feature, but please make sure if you have one of these, discharge your marker first. Disconnecting with air in the line is just as explosive as not having your bottle turned off. |
