Great Flute!,
This is a terrific buy! The instrument is very high quality and I imagine it could last a lifetime in the hard shell case that is included. The sound is great too. Although the silver plating is thin it is gorgeous and is well worth the time it takes to clean and polish after each session. I would recommend this flute to anyone. I love it!

You get what you pay for,
By It broke down the second day, I took it to the local woodwind repair shop and was told they can't get parts for SKY instruments - and even if they could, it wouldn't be worth fixing it. For the same money, but a brand name USED flute. Make sure it is approved by the National Association of Music Educators - MENC approved. Don't throw away your money on an instrument that only frustrates the student (and parent)!
