I bought two of these and the first one leaked the moment I hooked it up. The second sprang a leak about 2 days later. There is a very thin rubber hose (a little thicker then a balloon) inside the woven outer cloth hose. The inner hose is so thin that it gets holes in it then you have a streams of water shooting out at those points. Also, keep this in mind before buying: You MUST unroll the entire hose before it can be used, and then you MUST disconnect the hose from the outlet each and everytime you wish to roll it back up. To me that destroys any real convenience except long term storage.

Most flat hoses are 3 small tubes put together into one hose which I liked because they never kinked up. This hose is cheaply made and kinks up constantly unless you unroll it completely flat before you let the water in. Not worth the money. What a rip off.

I read the bad reviews but didn't think it could be as bad as they said but BOY WAS I WRONG. I had a similar yellow hose of the same kind of construction so I knew this hose was not to be left under pressure, but it was so light weight and easy to move around the yard I figured the people who gave it bad reviews probably weren't used to the delicate nature of this type of a light weight hose. I also knew these hoses usually don't last more than one season if your lucky but for the price and the light weight ease of use it would be worth it even if I had to buy a couple.

This hose didn't last more than a few hours. My hose kinked like crazy and within minutes I had a pinhole where it kinked one time. A little while later I turned the water on again and the hose broke off at the faucet.

Don't make a mistake like I did. Spend a little more and get a better hose.

I was going to use this hose for the first time today with my Grocor root feeder and found out that the male and female ends of this product are defective. Every time I turned on the hose the connections on the hose popped apart. I have tried several different ways to correct this problem but as of right now this hose is worthless to me. My suggestion is that you discontinue this product and return any you have in stock to the manufacturer. Sorry about such a poor review but I am thourghly disgusted with this product.

I picked up one of these at a yard sale for $3 recently and used it exactly once before the coupler blew out. I tried to real it back up anyway but it is a very painful process as the hose just keeps falling back off. I gave up and threw it away. Thank goodness it was only $3!

Hose is terrible - it has to be completely unwound to work and the slightest kink makes it quit working. Mine went to Goodwill.

the hose stores well, but it kinks easily and I was constantly having to stop and straighten it, only used it about half a season though until my boyfriend ran over it with the lawnmower, need a hose made of iron around him.

I much prefer flat garden hoses to the regular kind, but they all seem to have connection problems, i.e. the hardware at either end doesn't function properly. Also in this particular model I did not realize the diameter would be so small, although it works fine for its purpose.

WISH I HAD READ YOUR REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED THE ROLL UP FLAT HOSE........NOW AM TRYING TO GET ANOTHER REPLACEMENT...
STARTED IT UP AND GOT MYSELF A SHOWER WITH 6 LEAKS..........

LOVE THE FLATNESS OF IT AND THE WAY IT ROLLS BUT NG AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.........

Is a great idea but does not quite deliver. Great for the boat as will not scratch or mark, but does kink badly which affects water pressure. If it was kink proof it would be great. The winder is very fragile & have given up trying to use it.
