This book was very inspiring for my daughter who initially wasn't keen on going to college. It's a very easy read and offered all the tools for her to see a way of getting through college as quick as possible with the required degrees. The guide and advice starts from the last years of high school and brings you into college. College life was going to be her first time away from home and living independently. The book has helpful worksheets for finances, study times, career options, living requirements and several other worksheets. It also informed her about the college lifestyle and how to be successful living on your own and creating a new social environment. It explains about financial aid, how to choose a major, sororities and fraternities, and some of the negative extra curriculum activities that can go on at college, and how to stay clear of them (drinking, drugs ect). This is a step by step guide and covers every aspect of the process. Great buy!! Very informative.

"College Degree in 3" is an excellent college planning tool. The book's title champions the concept of how to plan to complete college in only three years. However, this is an excellent guide to successfully conquer college and the many new experiences that come with college, no matter what your timeline is. Dr. Bowman's conversational language style, diagrams, illustrations, and worksheets all make this an easy, fun, and useful read. The book provides concrete and insightful guidance on topics you were always wondering about and topics you never had considered. Just a few of the topics that the book addresses are: selecting a major, financial aid, living arrangements, note taking, test preparation, time management, and the social aspects of attending college. I strongly recommend for all high school students.

If I had this book in high school, my college path would have turned out much differently! Dr. Bowman has created an incredible tool for both students and parents alike that if used, will completely change the way they prepare for the college experience. Really useful worksheets, resources and websites make this book one that every student planning to attend college should read. I'm already recommending it to several friends who have kids graduating from high school!
