Barely any break in!,

Great shoe! I was originally looking for a heavy soled boot for work, but ended up trying this shoe just for kicks. It feels great on my feet; lightweight but durable feeling. Would recommend!

The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. These Columbia hiking shoes are very durable.

Have been wearing these boots for about 3 years or so. I do landscaping and a-lot of walking. During the busy season I can get about 2-3 months out of a pair. They are comfortable, the reason I need new ones is the souls get warn out (no tread left). During the winter I can get 6-8 months out of them.

I didn't buy from amazon, but from a local store. i have been wearing daily for about 6 months, and the sole is starting to wear thin. Also the stitching on one of the shoes is starting to come apart (i can slide my pinky into the hole on one of the toes). This is the first pair of Columbia shoes that i have had. I may have gotten a bummer pair with some bad stitching. I'm not trying to say that this is the norm for Columbia's quality. These are not used for work, I do walk a lot though (paved and not). My wife has the same pair and loves them so far.

After a spinal cord injury in 1997, I have had residual effects that include pain, limited movement, numbness, and sensetivity in my lower extremities, particularly my feet. I found these shoes about five years ago and wear them "all" the time. I've owned a couple pair, but found out recently that I can not get them anymore from the store in my area where I purchased them. When I saw them on Amazon I purchased them but noticed immediately that they were not he same as the ones I had been buying. They are still comforable, don't get me wrong, but they seem to be made a little cheaper, and in fact were $10.00 more than I used to pay. I'm going to check around for my next pair of shoes and possibly change to something else. But, if I can't find anything that feels good for my feet, I'll continue wearing these for the time being.
