My husband has a rather large head and wanted something to keep the sun off his ears that didn't make his head sweat while doing yard work. He's very happy with the hat and in this 100 degree Texas heat, his head doesn't get sweaty. He looks a little dorky, but that's okay ..... he's my dork and his ears won't get burned!

WE BOUGHT 2 HATS A XL & A LARGE THE HATS LOOK THE SAME IN THE PHOTOS BUT THE XLARGE WAS MADE HEAVIER THEN THE LARGE .THE XL WAS THE BETTER BUY FOR THE MONEY (3 STARS FOR THE X LARGE & 2 STARS FOR THE LARGE)
