I do not usually post my reviews, but after researching what little info there is on Combi car seats, I wanted to help those unsure of this product to make up their minds. Most of the cons people have listed are true, a little more patience is needed to use this seat, it's heavier, and it's rather large, but I don't mind suffering for the benifit of my baby, it is all worth it. No other infant carrier was as padded as this one is, my daughter accompanied me on four 14 hour car rides before she was three months old. She did not cry at all and I am attributing that to the comfort of her car seat. I believe this was listed third by Consumer Reports, with the only cons being ease of use, if it had better installation directions, I am sure it would have been #1. If you drive a compact car, forget about it, I have a VW Passat and there is not an inch to spare, my husband has a Chevy Suburban and it just barely fits in there, as well. If you want your baby to be comfortable, and drive a full size sedan, this is by far the best carrier out there.

We read reviews, consumer reports and books about car seats to make sure we picked the right one for our needs. This one was perfect. Its padding makes it comfortable for our son, the color and style isn't to juvenile for my taste, and it works perfectly with the matching stroller. It is also lightweight compared to others in the similar quality category, which is great as my son gets bigger.

We received this carseat as a gift. We liked how easy it latches into the base and how soft it is. However getting it out of the car is tough it is always getting stuck. The car seat is large so not good for a small car. We also have a hard time strapping her into it. If we would have seen it in a store before we got it we would have asked for a different one. My daughter is 3 1/2 months and we are looking at getting a different one. Bad investment on this one.

I purchased this car seat in crimson before my little girl arrived. It fit fine in our Suv but a bit snug in the sedan, we did have to push the front seat up a bit. The seat cover has a few pulls on it from my little ones velcro shoes, but you can buy a replacement cover. Also it is a pain to take off to wash. Overall it has been pretty good. It works great with the ultra savvy stroller as a travel system. One last problem my daughter did outgrow it by the time she was 7 mo. old.

Very cool looking. Kind of heavy - but then I guess infant seats all are, not sure as we didn't do much research. My husband just came home with this one day as he liked the way it looked. The padding on the seat, though, it nice and soft - softer than I remember the other graco snugrides as that's what I assumed we'd get. The sunshade thing, though, is realllly flimsy and it pops off on one or both sides pretty often. Not sure if this is just my specific seat, or a common problem. Also, it says not to hold the seat by the handle - but with both hands on each side, under the seat. Is this normal? Isnt' carrying in the seat, what that handle is for? But anyway, it's pretty cool looking, our son look comfortable in it as well and it clicks in and out of the base relatively easily.
