About the Author

Dr. Vinod Wadhawan is a Raja Ramanna Fellow at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. He has authored books on ferroic materials and smart structures. He feels very concerned about the rampant irrational belief systems he sees nearly everywhere, and believes that exposure to complexity science can help cure many of these ills.

This book was my first venture into non-fiction so I was a bit skeptical that I would enjoy it. I was barely able to put this book down after the first few pages got me completely hooked. The author has as incredibly compelling writing style. It's educational and enlightening all at once.

I found the book to be well written with a fantastic pacing. The author explains the scientific concepts in a very simple manner, so that laymen can understand them very well. He gives interesting examples in every topic, so it's easy to draw a parallel from our own lives, and understand the concepts.

Overall, a great book. I would definitely recommend this as a read.
