The price for a new LCD screen for my daughters Nikon Coolpix camera is a real money saver. Be aware that you will need a very small phillips head screw-driver (I used one from an eye-glass repair kit). The edge connectors on the camera have a flip-up top that can be popped up to pull out the connecting ribbons. I found installing the narrower ribbon first to be easier. Once the ribbon is bottomed out in the connector, a push down on the top of the connector locks it in place. Patience and some good magnifying glasses is a help.

When the screen on my camera cracked, I had 3 choices. I could either send it away to get fixed which was basically the price of a new camera, buy the screen and replace it myself, or just buy the new camera.
Being poor, I opted for buying the replacement screen myself.

My screen took forever to get here, but considering it came all the way from Hong Kong, I guess it's not too bad. The screen arrived in perfect condition, not a single smudge or scratch. And the magnetized screwdriver was really handy for getting all those tiny screws out of the camera.
The only thing I would suggest is maybe including instructions on how to actually install the screen once I got my camera apart. Thankfully my little brother, whose favorite hobby is building computers and stereos, was there to help me because I wasn't sure what to do and I didn't want to break anything.

Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend this product.

Besides not knowing the screen had a protector on it, and installing it with the protector on it and having to remove the screen to remove the screen protector, I am very pleased with the product. when I had a problem, the company was very quick with a response and solved the problem. It was a great value for the money and resorted my camera to working order. I wish all of my broken electronic devices could be repaired as easily as this!

This was great. The install kit was a wonderful thing to have. Removed the screws easily enough and the blue pusher was great to get the screen where it needed to be. The camera itself was a little hard to line back up. The small screwdriver did end up stripping while the screws were going back in because of needed to push harder to keep the camera lined up right. But a small eyeglass screwdriver worked fine, too.

This product is great and the screen is perfect. It replaced my broken screen and I didn't have to buy a new camera and spend a lot of money. My husband installed it within 15 minutes and found it to be an easy installation. The only warning for when replacing the screen is to remove the battery and be careful of the flash. My husband got a shock when he accidentally touched the flash area so avoid this and remove the battery and you should have no problems at all.

Well I was very bummed I cracked my Cool Pix LCD screen and being in the electronic buisness hate to see waste or throw away a perfectly working item. So I found this guy and I recieved my LCD very quickly (was expecting to wait from other reveiw) but it is in and working very happy. Thanks Again

I'm very happy with my purchase. I thought about getting a new camera but decided to give this a try and I wasn't disappointed. My camera was back to normal in about 20 minutes. No instructions included but they aren't necessary.

Didnot get tool repair kit with screens ,ordered wrong size screens emailed and ask to return screens for correct ones and still waiting to receive the new ones with tool kit. been two weeks .

the replacement camera LCD screen had flaw, a green streak from one side to the other. this is how it arrived. it is an inferior product and I am disappointed that Amazon would use such vendors in their network. I will however, stay away from using Amazon for future purchases.
