These markers are worth every penny. They work more like paint than markers. They blend easily, and give pictures a rich, vibrant color. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to seriously color their artwork. Someone who just wants to color their art and doesn't need something of a very high quality would be better off buying something cheaper, however, as these are professional quality (and price) markers.

The markers come in a durable storage box.

These markers are a very good buy, but I would keep aware that this twelve piece set doesn't contain all the markers you'll need if you're going to color anything living. This set contains the most basic colors possible, with little deviation. The problem omissions are mostly lack of any skin colors or greys, as well as the fact that the yellow included is a rather weak color as yellows go.
However, if you're just beginning, this is a good start. Each new marker you buy will cost you about five dollars, so think ahead about what you're willing to spend.

Copic markers are the highest quality marker on the market. They are popular with both the manga artists in Japan and artists in America. Copic markers are not for the beginner, but rather for more experienced artist wishing to get into some new high quality materials. Colors are limited in this set, but this set is a good place to start.
Colors created by Copic markers are spectacular, but before forewarned they very ink heavy and will bleed though your average paper.

These are great markers, if a bit spendy. One thing I do not like, however, is their inconsistency in filling the new markers...some come dry, some come overly-wet, to the point of leaking. It seems they could be more consistent. The good aspect is they are refillable, but by the time you invest in all of the colors plus refills, you have a down payment on a car!

A wonderful gift to an artist! Copics are the best you can get! They make eveything better and the colors are amazing. They were a gift for my bestfriend in art school, and he was so happy to recieve them! They can go for upwards of $6 a piece for getting the pack is always a good deal. This is one instance where "you get what you pay for" is a great thing!

I am using the "sketch markers" on something other than paper and I am delighted with how well they work. The secret is the brus!h end! I feel like I've found some treasure!

These can be expensive so I was happy to see Amazon had them for a fair price. I did not even know what they were, but that my teen daughter wanted them for her birthday. Let's just say no stores for 90 miles would have these on their selves. Thanks Amazon!

They are amazingly smooth to color with, like having a paint brush always full of paint on one end, the other end is a nice chisel point for nice lines, or large areas. The only problem with buying a set was finding out what colors were in the set, they don't show that on the descriptions, so after buying two sets I have some duplicates. They are expensive at first look but what you get and how long you can use them they are well worth the money!

I used my friend's COPIC markers and loved them I looked for them in local stores but only found a small set and it was more expensive than this set of 12. They are great for coloring in stamps

I am a VERY novice manga artist, and these markers are AMAZING! Don't go for those prismacolors, cause I know thats what I was going to do! But really, if you want true colors, from pastels to neons. They seriously have every color imanginable, and in the rare case they don't have a color you NEED these markers are completely blendable? Also, there smell is minimal. Cons: DO they have any? The pice, a little more expensive than your average crayola, but they are worth it. They have gone up in price sice I purchased them, andhopefully it will return to its previous price soon, but they are STILL a great purchase if you are planning to regularly use these markers. In conclusion, these smooth, bright, gorgeous markers are a worhtwhile purchase if your a a novice artist of a master!
