We live in a small condo and needed a table to pull out every Wed for Math tutoring. This table is very sturdy, the top is like a black leather. When you pull the legs out you have no doubt that the table will stay up and intact and will hold heavy things. At first the legs seem difficult to collapse because they are firmly in place, however, i found out that you just push in on the sides of the brackets that hold the legs and then the legs just collapse right away. We store this in our downstairs closet. Very happy with this purchase and the price was great! hope this helps. I would say this would be great for art projects, extra table for side dishes at a BBQ, dinner for 2 but more people might be too crowded.

Table arrived. The legs and frame are sturdy. The table top is glued on and when it arrived it had come off slightly. Now after a couple of months I picked it up and the table top piece just flapped off. If you leave it alone and cover it with a table cloth it should be alright.

I use this table for writing and it doesnt shake. Just put a bunch of folders and books on it with the book holders and it won't move. I've had it for about 5 months now and its very stable. Plus its super light so I could move it easily. The legs are strong. I highly recommend it.
