poorly designed, not XP compatible, contains adware,

If I could give this product 0 stars, I would have. This product was sent to me as a replacement for Print Perfect DVD, which would not run correctly under XP (see my review for that). Unfortunately, this product does not run correctly under Windows XP either. All 382MB of it must be installed separately for each user account that will use it (and each must be made an administrator account to do the installation). I tested the product after going through this rigmarole and found it very poorly designed. Its interface is very unfriendly (e.g. text boxes do not resize as you type; no Undo/Redo capability) and its clip art selection, while large, is IMO dreadful. I sent a list of *31* problems to Cosmi support but, strangely, got no reply. But the final nail in its coffin is that it bundles the adware program HelpExpress by Alset. Checking the Print Perfect Deluxe MSI package on the CD confirms its presence. This adware is installed silently along with Print Perfect. No user agreement is presented to obtain your consent, nor is there even any notification. HelpExpress then silently tries to download additional components, starts up processes on your computer, and is left installed and active even after you uninstall Print Perfect. Bad enough that this kind of garbage can be imposed on us by random evil Web sites, but that it should be bundled, without the customer's knowledge or consent, in a commercial package like this is beyond the pale.
