I am an average-sized female, and this cot could easily hold a very large person, but I bought it for the exta width. The cot is light-wieght and folds up nicely into a green carrying case. To assemble, first you unfold the main part, then you attach the four aluminium tubular legs. This was a bit of a challenge with one of the legs, because I couldn't get the tube to line up with the pipe at first, but it may be easier the next time I set it up. The fabric is a heavy-duty green material. I laid on it to test it out, and it produced some sounds whenever I moved around or turned over. I think that this will get better, too. I am a very picky sleeper which is why I purchased the widest cot available, and I am going to place a good-quality foam pad on top of it, too.

I used the big cot this past summer. it performed quite well and was comfortable. assembly the first time proved a challenge but it went smoothly. the nights i used it kept me dry as it poured both nites !shipping i felt was quite expensive (one half the cost of the cot)!!this is a rather large cot, so make certain it will fit in your tent..

i have had one now for 10 years and i use it every year about 20 times for hunting fishing family frainds staying the night and it light enof i use it for r quad back packing trips we do everyyear well worth the money
