I was looking for a well-rounded, comprehensive guide to treatment of adults with childhood sexual assault or CSA and I found it in "Counselling Adult Survivors". She speaks with authority, humanity and compassion. I am using this book along with SAMSHA Treatment Improvement Protocol Series 36 or TIP 36 as the informational backbone of a presentation I am giving to a group of chemical dependency professionals this month. I will recommend this book to the group if they are looking for a strong reference on the topic of treatment of adult survivors of CSA.
