We got this clock/radio for our teenage daughter because she liked the one that we have that displays on the ceiling. It is fine for her but you cannot make the projected image very big although it can be focused if fuzzy. The real kicker is that the clock itself and the projected display have to be set separately so the time on the clock may not always be the same as projected time unless you just get them set exactly on the same time. Like I said it is fine for her and it was inexpensive but I would not like it for myself.

it was the projection that was not sure of at first, but after seeing the huge numbers against my wall, i was recommending this product to family. it's amazingly convienent and doubles up as your alarm clock

This is a sturdily built product with good though not sleek looks. Perfrmance is good. Main issues are with the projection display whose time needs to be set independently from that of the main display clock and hence needs to be reset every time when power fails since the back up battery only provides back up for main clock. Secondly the projeced time display is small size and red in color. Wold have preferred larger display and in brighter colour.

It is the perfect size for my night stand, and the projector is excellent. The alarm buzzer is at the perfect volume, just great.

Okay for its price. Not the best and most convenient clock. It is tough to turn off the alarm. You have to switch the alarm off, as opposed to a button that you can press. There is a snooze button, but it's still pretty tough to hit. The LED is great though.

I have 20/400 vision and wanted to be able to read the clock without my glasses. The projected digital numbers are to too small on the ceilings (barely readable with squinting), too faint and blurry on the walls across the room.

The clock itself works just fine. Low rating because useless projector for me. If I had no vision problem, this item whould have gotten 4 stars. (5 stars if with a rotating projector head)

The clock is ok, but the projection is poor.
The light for the projection is very faint.
The time for the projection has to be set separately from the main clock.

The alarm is easy to set once you figure it out. The radio is decent but he wouldn't advise using it at high volume. The buzz alarm is loud enough to wake up a 9 year old! The buttons are a little hard to push because you have to push them upward on an angle. The projector is decent and he can see the time clearly at night when the room is dark. He would recommend this to his friends.

I needed a fairly simple clock with a straightfoward alarm, easy to set, and with a laser projection for night-time clock watching. I also wanted the clock to take up little space on my night stand. This Coby model does the trick. The projected time is non-intrusive....you can't even see the numbers on the ceiling in the daytime, but works great at night. I didn't have to read the instructions to know how to set it. Perfect!

I like this clock a lot, the numbers are large and clear, and the volume of the alarm is loud enough to wake me but quiet enough not to wake the whole neighborhood.

However, I think the design of the buttons are too complicated, can't they make it more intuitive, i.e., with less buttons? I have to keep the instruction at hand for several weeks until I'm completely familiar with this thing!

If you're considering buying one as a gift to your elders who have difficulties using hi-tech stuff, such as TV remote, cell phone or any electronics... think again. But it'll be a great gift for young people.
