When I saw the cover design of this book I was excited to order it because I was part of an expecting club called to August Sweet Peas. I received it and was very pleased with the outside appearance. I excitedly gathered a bunch of the items and photos I wanted to put in it and brought it with me to a friend's house to begin working on it. What a let-down! When I opened it up and tried to turn the very first page, it ripped around the binder rings. The stock felt much thinner than I has expected. I could see I would have to put reinforcements on every single page around the binder rings to get it not to completely fall apart during construction.

For an item meant to be a keepsake, the pages are far too flimsy to hold up for even the baby's first year, let alone to share with others and save for years to come.

I LOVE this Memory Book! I purchased it after seeing the bound version in our local baby store. I LOVE that it's a Loose-leaf binder style so I can add sheet protectors to anything valuable and insert extra ultrasound pictures, keepsakes, etc. Much easier for someone like me who's not a big scrap booker to keep everything together in one place. I love that it covers all the major events but is not so extensive you have to write in it everyday. If you like to keep a lot of records, there are extra pages and pockets so it's perfect for all types! The downside: the pages are thin and shiny (like the page of a magazine) so if you write hard with a pen you will see the imprint on the other side, however it did not bleed through. I would just recommend using a regular pen and not a marker.

It must be hard to come up with a book that will cover the experience of the majority of pregnant women. This book only has one page for a baby shower, whereas between my church, family, coworkers, and husband's coworkers, I had about five. What I like about the loose-leaf book is that I could pull blank pages from the back and insert them where I needed them. I even scanned the baby shower pages and printed them onto the blank pages on a color printer. The color was a little off since the blank pages are already a light golden color, but not bad at all.
There are sections that I wish were longer (the part describing labor, for instances, does not give enough space), and other parts that seem too long for me, but again, it's hard to find the perfect book for every pregnancy and baby. It's very cute and sturdy and I highly recommend it.

This is a great looking baby book. We don't know if we're having a boy or a girl so I wanted something gender neutral. The book is gorgeous and would be perfect for either. I never looked at the dimensions of this baby book before it arrived. It really is a substantial 9 3/4 inches x 11 1/2 inches. The outside cover is very sturdy looking and has nice raised accents like the green ribbon along the left side, a felt pea pod and a raised frame around the baby picture. The pages inside look great; I don't think they are flimsy at all. They are cardstock type thickness. Yes, they could tear if you pulled hard on them, but I don't see them being damaged by everyday use. There are lots of good pages to prompt you for what to write if you're not quite the expert scrapbooker. They even include several clear page protectors you can slip in between pages where you have pictures or items added in so you can protect them. I love the 3 ring binder format so I can add or remove pages. We'll be passing the nurses our page for footprints rather than having to hand them the whole book. Overall, great looking baby book and I couldn't be happier.

Love this baby book, it is adorable and has a lot of inofrmation in it to fill out. It is also a 3 ring binder type, which allows you to add pages later or if you need more room. It came with a box that is wonderful for storing it also. Very happy with this product!

I received this book today, and absolutely love it! I do agree with other reviewers that the pages are a little thin (not really cardstock, but not regular paper either). Still, treated with care, this book will hold up just fine. I think the pages are adorable, and love the flexibility of the binder design. You can take out and insert pages as you like. It's not as hokey as some of the other baby books I've seen out there. Great for a little boy or girl, I fully recommend this book to document all of your little one's milestones!

The cover of this book is beautiful so I was very excited when I first opened it up. However, the quality of the pages on the inside is very poor. It is not easy to turn the pages in the loose leaf without extreme caution otherwise they will tear or crease. I do not see this lasting several months much less a lifetime. On a positive note, the content on the pages is wonderful and the plastic inserts in the back that allow you to add momentos, etc are great. I am returning and hoping that the bound version is much sturdier.

Very difficult to order a product like this without seeing it first. Was a bit aprehensive not knowing what to expect. This is the most precious book which includes pages for most anything you would want to record. Love the loose-leaf feature. Will enjoy this for generations.....

I looked around all over for the perfect baby book and almost gave up. Then I found this one. One of my issues with all the baby books was that they all had pages for mommy and/or daddy's note to baby. That is not my style and I felt bad just leaving it blank. With this book, it does come with the page for note to baby, but since it is in loose leaf format, I can take it out without having to tear any pages. Another great thing about this book is that you can add or remove pages easily. I don't think I will need to remove any other pages, but I may add some for more pictures. I am so excited to get this book going for my soon-to-be little boy!

My only regret is waiting till my son was 5 months old before ordering this. I LOVE this baby book. Couldn't ask for anything more, it has everything you would want with plenty of space for writing and pictures. It came beautifully packaged, such a great value for the price. It would make a beautiful shower gift. Can't wait to get it all filled out for my son!
