Deciding upon a baby book is a very personal choice, but this met my wants exactly. What I did not want was religous, sappy, or only for the first year.
This is somewhat similar to "my babys first seven years" which my older kids had. Its pretty too.

This book is awesome. it has space for all of your baby memories. places to put baby shower memories, birth stories,their height and weight, Dr. visits, birthdays, all of their firsts, and much more. the only thing i wish it had more of was space for more pictures.

Love this book. It is simple, yet elegant. Very classy!!! Bought it as a gift for my new granddaughter-her Mom and I searched high and low for the perfect baby book, and this fits the bill!!!

A couple years ago I purchased this book in the binder / loose-leaf version and really enjoyed the book's style and format. As other reviewers have stated, it is tastefully designed without tacky cartoon characters or other overly cutesy / childish drawings. One thing I missed when ordering this product for my second child is that this product is the BOUND book version. I thought I was going to get the binder version, but that was my mistake for not realizing it didn't say binder or loose-leaf anywhere in the product description. I will keep it, though, because it has the same design and styling as the binder version, and my two daughters will have slightly different books now. The only drawback relative to the binder version (which I don't think is currently in stock at Amazon) is that you can't rearrange the pages and there are no extra pages with pockets for storing miscellaneous keepsakes. However, it is a nice book and is well made.

my husband bought me a baby book from a local mommy store before my baby was born. It was very sweet with pretty pictures i was super excited to start filling it out once my daughter was born. I was so disapointed to find the pages bleed when written on... I searched everywhere for a new baby book. I thought why not lets look on amazon. I read every single review for all the baby books that i liked. I finally decided to pick this one for the great reviews. I am so happy i did. Its perfect. No lame cartoons or poems other people wrote. It has more than enough pages to fill out for every thing. Each page has enough room to write what you need but not to much to feel obligated to write a novel. I really like that there is a seperate page for mom and dad to fill out. For info on themselves and on their family. I also love that there is space to add full size photos. No cropping or cutting down necessary i dont like to mutilate my photos. It comes in a nice box with hard plastic that goes over it to keep it protected. I want this book to stay intact forever. The best part the pages do not bleed when written on. Over all 5 stars well well deserved. I am very happy with my new baby book for my daughter. If i have more kids i will definitely get them the same baby book.

It was exactly what I thought it was going to be!! It is not too plain, not too cheesy, its perfect.

Very classic, beautiful baby book. Pages inside include details on mom/dad, brief family tree, highlights from pregnancy, baby showers, etc followed by the ususal noteworthy items on birth and baby's progress through the first year. I was looking for something simple and not too "cutesy"- this is it! Purchased for myself, but would also be a great gift (comes in a nice gift box).

Wow, I received my beautiful baby book in what felt like a day it might have been two =) I opened it up looked thru and it was exactly what wanted something simple but classy. Its pink cover with a small title baby book! Perfect I flipped thru the pages and I realized this was the one I am so happy to have chosen not a lot of extra un necessary pictures and wording.. The right amount!

This book is very beautiful. It's well made and the pages are easy to fill out. There are spaces for photos and momentos too. It is going to be a treasured item for my daughter for her whole life +++

I took my time looking for a great baby book for my little baby girl. I looked at so many books and saw this one at babies R us but wanted to keep looking. It was the same price at the store. I just didn't want to drive back there to get.


I found a couple I liked but thought this one was great because its not a dated book. Just pretty in pink leather and think she would like it. Its expensive but I figured it would last forever. My parents had a book for me and I enjoyed looking at it while I was growing up.
