This C4-NGen04 version comes with a non sliding pad and has yet to slip. The pads for the mouse have come in handy as well. It causes the mouse to be super slick. It might take some getting used to and some adjusting on the computer's mouse settings but it can't be beat. Enjoy.
I do online puzzles where speed counts and I like being the fastest. It became next to impossible. Anyway, I decided to try this mouse pad and the mouse feet (discs) and now I'm a very happy camper.
The packing was great, more than was probably needed but that's fine by me. I was surprised by the thinness of the actual pad because it's about the same thickness as heavy duty foil gift wrapping paper. In spite of it though, the pad is strong. I cut it into 4 squares like someone else did here so now I have backup if anything happens to the one I'm currently using. I LOVE IT. My mouse glides easily....finally.
The backing is absolutely perfect; it has just the right amount of stickiness, and sacrilegious as this may be, I have it placed right on top of my steelseries gaming mouse pad which was too sluggish for my OS problem...so no longer useful.
I also cut one of the gray (not tan, white, or clear) discs into much smaller sections and attached the pieces to the bottom of my mouse. An X-Acto knife with a very thin blade works great for separating the disc from the brown paper backing.
I wipe the bottom of the mouse feet and the mouse pad occasionally with an eyeglass cleaning cloth (those little cloths that come with an eyeglasses cleaning kit). They aren't abrasive and they keep the surfaces clean and frictionless.
I do online jigsaw puzzles many hours each day and have used the CS Hyde C4-NGen04 pad and discs for a little over week. I'm just about positive that I will continue to love what I received which is why I'm leaving my feedback now.

The backing of this mouse pad is like the TV commercial with that "sticky roller", it's real tacky, and will not move until it is lifted off the surface. Read morePublished on February 14, 2013 by Amazon Customer
