I purchased this item in July, 2007 as a way of listening to music while working on my computer. The item fits perfectly on my computer desk and is easy to use. Do not expect superior sound quality. For the price it provides adequate sound quality and allows me to listen to my iPod music without using headphones. My 30 GB iPod fit perfectly into the slot and the device charges my iPod at the same time that it plays my music. The buttons on the front of the machine provide for easy volume control. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and it performs just like I thought it would. I find myself listening to more music on my iPod since I'm not bound by the earphones. My music is now good background music and now not something that I have to totally concentrate on while working at my desk.

I went to Frys and tried about 25 different display models of iPod speakers, from $6 to $350 with no pre-conceived preference in mind. I found that this model was the best buy for the money. The really expensive Bose speakers sounded better, but NOT 5-times-the-price better. The other similarly priced speakers paled in comparison; they were either tinny-sounding or muffled. And the really cheap speakers sounded really cheap, plus they didn't charge my iPod. So, I bought one for myself and one for my daughter for Christmas. So far, so good! No problems. I'm satisfied and would recommend it.

This item is perfect. I needed something small and inexpensive that I could leave at work and this is just the right price. The sound seems to be pretty good but being at work in a cubicle I have to keep the volumne down so others don't hear it. I love it because it charges my iPod I don't have to worry about the battery running low or the little portable speakers that I was using which I had to constantly put in new batteries. This is great and I will be buying more for gifts down the road. Great buy.

It's a good little stereo and works great with my ipod. It came quickly and is reasonably priced. The sound quality isn't the greatest, but it does the trick nicely for the price.

I have a Nano 8GB - fits nicely into the center. I like having the ability to play songs while doing house chores. It looks nice on the counter too!

Great for playing my Ipod. I was looking for something inexpensive, with good sound quality. I wasn't looking for a clock or alarm, just a player. I wanted a small unit, with a power cord - easy to move from room to room and charging the Ipod while it's playing. Only three buttons on it - on/off and up/down volume. Small size, simple and decent sound - just what I was looking for.

I was looking for an inexpensive ipod speaker for my daughter's room to use as a sleep playlist and this is perfect. Very basic volume controls in the front, sound quality is pretty good, and even functions as a very dim night light.

I've enjoyed the iPod speakers. It came with different adapters to plug in various iPod types and it fit the ones we had. It also came with a cord to plug into the headphone jack of other mp3 players that aren't compatible with the iPod dock.

The sound is great and the volume is loud enough.

The only problem is that when the music is not playing and the device is left on, we can hear a little "hum" that is annoying enough to catch our attention and go over and unplug the speakers from the power source.

Other than that, it's been a great product.

With a reasonable price, this item works well and it hasn't presented a problem until this day. I bought it for my mom so it's easy for her to charge her ipod and listen to music while she cooks, she loves it. I would highly recommend this item to anyone who wants fairly good sound quality at a good price.

I love this speaker system for my ipod and mp3 player. It has a great volumn adjustment and sound. Even keeps ipod charged. Great value for the money. Just what I was looking for, I have had others but never was satisfied, but now I can enjoy my music without having to keep removeing and charging my ipod.
