Includes features that some similar products don't, and which have turned out to be more important than I expected. One in particular is the timer. It can be very difficult to hold the laser one-handed and press the button to take a measurement while keeping it steady and properly aimed. With the timer you can take five seconds to get lined up and then the laser will automatically take the measurement, no further button pushing required. I'm very happy with the product, no disappointments.

If you are in the market for a laser measuring tool, look no further. This is easy to use and can provide accurate readings at very long distances. The only improvement I might suggest is for flatter ears on the two sides of the laser near the tip. Since they are not perfectly flat it will rock slightly when taking measurements from a flat surface. I think you could sand or file the rubber ears to make it flat but it would be better to come from the factory that way. The reading is fast and amazingly accurate.

It has a triangulation feature that lets you measure distances that may not otherwise be possible.

This model is not designed for outside use in bright light but I save my outside measurements for dusk or dawn. There is a different model that is intended for outdoor work if that is your need.

I am pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others.

This is my 3rd one I have purchased for our company. Awesome tool and accurate. Threads on velcro flap on pouch that goes over your belt to carry the unit are not sewn very well and the threads will rip apart. You will have to resew this.

I have owned this item for about 1 month now and have used it extensively. This is a great measuring device. The nice thing about this device that others dont have are the 4 different types of measurements. (1)Metric (2)Fractional feet and inches (3)Fractional inches and (Decimal feet. You can also convert form one type measurement to the other for fast conversion. The display is easy to read. It appears to be very accurate. I usually take two reading and they are almost identical. The difference is probably where the spot is located, slightly off center from each other.

The only thing I can think of to improve this unit is a better method of laying the unit on its side without rolling over.

Bought this awhile back due to home measurements were just really annoying with an old fashion tape measure. When I recieved it I was first surprised by the size, it's very small (about the size of my hand). The accuracy is fantastic and one of the features I enjoy most is the unit conversion capability.

This would've gotten 5 stars but for one minor gripe which was the metal clasp that is on the end of the device, designed for use on ledges etc. It's fairly flimsy and mine has loosened already after only a little use.

All in all recommend this laser measure device from CST Berger.
