Works OK. The batteries do get hot by the end of the charging period and it takes about 15 min to let them cool down by themselves. I don't know how long they would last if charged so quick but so far they look fine and the price of similar batteries is cheap. This is not an extremely "smart" charger (special wave cycle, etc.) but it works.

I bought this item because I liked the feature of being able to charge in the car or home. From the time that I charged them and put them in my Canon the battery indicator always blinked meaning that the batteries were low. I tried charging these many times. Don't know if the charger or the batteries are no good, I think it is the charger. I bought a Sony charger and...

THIS CHARGER IS EASY TO USE AND YOU KNOW WHEN THE CHARGE IS FULL AND COMPLETE. IT ALSO CHARGES THREE AAA AS WELL AS DOUBLE AA. YOU CAN ALSO USE THE TWO CENTER CHARGING TERMINALS TO CHARGE TWO 3 AAA OR TWO DOUBLE AA BATTERIES.
THE PRICE IS ALSO GOOD AS WELL AS THE SHIPPING CHARGE.
THE FOUR 2400 BATTERIES SEEM TO LAST MUCH LONGER THAN THE 2000 BATTERIES.

I bought this item because I liked the feature of being able to charge in the car or home. From the time that I charged them and put them in my Canon the battery indicator always blinked meaning that the batteries were low. I tried charging these many times. Don't know if the charger or the batteries are no good, I think it is the charger. I bought a Sony charger and batteries and have had good luck they are outstanding and last a long time! I charged the CTA batteries in the Sony charger and now I use the CTA batteries in my flashlight but won't put them back in my Canon.

I really needed this because I travel often to Africa and I am happy I can use it there too because it has an alternate adaptor for 220V. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a battery charger

It works as advertised and very quickly. I haven't used the car charger but the household 120 volt works as advertised. I'd recommend it.
