This item arrived promptly, but was absolutely useless to me as it was a European plug and a plug that hooks into a car's cigarette lighter port. As I live in NYC, both of these things mean nothing to me. It would've cost more than it was worth to send it back and order something else.

The plug rotates out to connect to the wall socket, but with the two of these that I purchased (one original and one replacement) the plug makes no connection with the inside. (I verified this with an ohm meter). So the devices did not do anything when plugged into the wall. They did work fine with the cigarette lighter plug.
