This item arrived promptly, but was absolutely useless to me as it was a European plug and a plug that hooks into a car's cigarette lighter port. As I live in NYC, both of these things mean nothing to me. It would've cost more than it was worth to send it back and order something else.

The plug rotates out to connect to the wall socket, but with the two of these that I purchased (one original and one replacement) the plug makes no connection with the inside. (I verified this with an ohm meter). So the devices did not do anything when plugged into the wall. They did work fine with the cigarette lighter plug.

I have bought this charger because I needed one that could be compact and fast.
Finally I found it and it is excelent. Highly recomend it

I recently bought this charger because I lost the original Nikon battery charger. The great thing about this device is the compact size and fewer necessary cords compared to the Nikon charger. For travel, nothing beats the small size and built in AC plug. Then add the fact that this is about 1/3 the cost and there is no question that the CTA Digital MR ENEL1 mini battery charger is a better deal.

Okay, you get what you pay for. I bought this item in May 2010 and it worked until March 2011. Then it would partially charge and then show the green light indicating "charged" but the battery wasn't really charged, or the red light would stay on for a couple of days and it just wouldn't charge at all, blah blah blah. I just ordered the Nikon charger, which cost about four times more but I'm assuming it will last longer.

I needed something to charge up batteries for an old Nikon I picked up. This charger unit does the trick. Could not find anything local for the same price. Also on amazon picked up two EN-EL1 batteries for also an excellent price.

I ordered this product thinking I would get a little adapter to let me use it in Italy, where I am traveling next month. When it came, it did not look like the one in the picture, and did not have the little European adapter thing in the picture either. I think I got something that's closer to the Dolica DN-CEL1 charger.

It does, however, charge my battery, and is cheaper than the Nikon version, so I don't think I will send it back.
It is possible that the product sent is not same as the one ordered. Hopefully this was a system mistake, though its doubtful.

I bought it for my coolpix 775. It works perfect for the original battery and the new batteries I bought with this product. The option of having the car charger or the wall charger is nice.

Very hard to find this type of charger, but, I found it on Amazon.com...I am very pleased with the product, and the shopping on Amazon.

I bought this charger as it was recommended by Amazon since most other purchasers of Nikon replacement batteries also bought this. My first impression was that the construction is little thin. Let's hope I never drop on the concrete. This is actually for my daughter as I am re-birthing an old digital camera for her use now that she will be 6. The price was very inexpensive so I am not upset. I guess putting a 6 year old will be show me the test of time for this product.
