Not much else to say but it works. I used the included plug adapter in Europe and it worked without issue.

So far a good product. Keeps your camera's batteries charged when on the road or camping.Very good price.

Great product, would definately recommend and will be getting another for my other camera. Much smaller than original charger from nikon. Only worry is about the two plastic prongs that secures battery to charger as it looks like these could easily break off.

This charger is completely functional though I wonder how long it's going to last. The plastic prongs holding in the battery will probably snap off in my luggage as they are sort of just sticking out there unprotected. But it does work and is more convenient than the stock Nikon charger that came with my camera. I purchased this item specifically for travel and appreciate the inclusion of the adaptor. I haven't tried the 12V cord.

Smaller than my Nikon charger, which is why I bought it. The charging rate is a little slower than the Nikon charger, but it's not like it takes long (I usually let them charge overnight), so it doesn't matter to me.

Item I received was not quite as pictured (thus the 4 not 5 stars). Similar, but the one received has small plastic prong type things sticking up to keep battery in place for charging. Not at all a problem per se, but I could see how they might break off at some point if you're not careful. I'm reluctant to put this thing in my camera bag for fear it wouldn't be protected enough for the prongs. The two metal plates are sufficient (one review took issue with that). My original Nikon charger only has 2 metal places/contact points, too. So that doesn't seem to be a problem. I have charged my two Nikon batteries today and it took about 4 hours per battery and they were both drained beforehand. There is a red light indicating that it's charging; light turns green when they are finished. I test the "charged" batteries and they are full power, ready to go.

This is a great, inexpensive alternative to the more expensive chargers. The car and Euro option is also nice. Great buy! I'd recommend that everyone get an extra battery to keep on hand so that you're not without power at a critical moment. You can get off brand Nikon batteries for under $10 on Amazon.

I managed to go out of town without my charger for my Nikon D40 - and of course, the battery died. I debated on this inexpensive item vs the official Nikon item, but ordered this and had it shipped to my hotel.

This charger was much nicer than I expected. My order did come directly from Amazon, not a third party vender. My price was around $10. I did receive the CTA charger as shown in the description. My charger is similar to the one in the picture, except that it has two additional thin plastic clips that extend from the sides and hold the battery in place- I must have a slightly different model.

The charger worked fine on my battery. It is ultra compact, and has a plug that folds out on the back to plug directly into the wall- no cord, etc. It has an indicator light- red for charging, green when done.

The plastic seems to be quite sturdy- I can see that if the charger was carried around roughly that the clips that hold the battery in the charger could possibly break off. If that happened you could still charge the battery if you plugged the charger into a surge protector so it was flat. I think you would have to be pretty rough with the charger for that to happen- they are fairly thick, and not as flimsy as I expected from some of the other reviews.

It came with an adapter to plug into a car cigarette lighter, and also a European adapter for the plug. This would be a good charger to take when traveling as it is very small, as long as you were careful with the side clips with packing.

Used the charger twice and it worked great, then just stoped working, never droped it or anything, I am not sure why it quit, now when I plug it in it makes a faint clickng sound and does not charge.

I bought this to help reduce the possibilty of running my batteries out. Can be charged using AC or DC charging. Great for last minute charging.

We were happy for the low price, and that it charges the battery, but we have to use tape or a rubber band to hold the battery down because the little hooks were very flimsy and broke off. Besides that it performs as advertised.
