Why buy the ones made by Canon for prices which seem to be set while they are smoking crack. These work just as well and you also get extra stuff that comes in handy. I highly recommend getting this kit if you need a battery for your camera. The car charger is awesome.

The extra battery packs with the car charger is awesome. I will never run out of battery again on a trip.

Bought this for my daughter, who lost her first battery. She is very happy and loves having a spare battery. She takes a lot of video and claims the batteries last longer than the original. The charger works very well and it's nice to have an additional charger (to supplement the one that came with the camera) when you have two batteries.

For the low price, these batteries perform just as strong as the original Canon battery. I haven't used the car charger yet, but it is a good addition to this purchase.
