1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy Kindle Edition ! December 29, 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I wish I'd read the reviews of th 2010 edition before downloading the current Kindle edition. I have the 2008 paperback and love the book, but as a Kindle reviewer said in another review, it is nearly impossible to find what you are looking for in the Kindle edition. Using Kindle for PC the searches are fairly fast, but you only get a few words associated and a bunch of hits, so that you need to go through every hit to find what you are looking for, a BIG time waster. Even worse, I got this mostly so I could have a medical reference on my iPod Touch. Searching and finding what you want is cumbersome, poorly executed, and SLOOW.... It is hard to find even the Table of Contents on the Touch, and even the index is nearly useless. This is a great book in paperback, too bad I wasted $50 on the Kindle edition.

I bought this book as a required text for PA school. It is not very readable as a text, but I found it to be an excellent resource book. I'll keep it for that purpose. Read more
