I wanted to get the perfect bag for my boyfriend who's a guy on the go. He has so much stuff that he's always carrying around and half the time forgetting stuff at work and at home. Well I didn't know which one to get so I ordered two which was this bag and Jansport Air Cisco Metro Daypack. Not only was the Jansport huge but it was really expensive and I'll tell you he has not used it once(hopefully it'll come in handy when travleing), but the 20' cuscus single strap sling (this bag) goes EVERYWHERE with him. It's convient, comfortable and best of all he loves it. Since he's a police officer he's always taking his gun home with him it's nice that he can keep those personal items out of site.

It's got a place for everything...even your ipod which is conviently located on the strap that goes over your chest. Absolutly great for hiking and if he jogs to work(he lives really close to work). I ordered him the gray one and now I'm going to order a red one for myself...

I love tis back pack! I wanted something that was not real big. I have a 15 minute walk to my train station and I wanted something that would be comfortable. It's a perfect size - able to put a couple of books, and a lunch in one of the larger pockets. It has a space for your water bottle, a pocket for your cell phone on the strap, a space for your ipod as well as the two larger pokcets. It flips around easily so you can get stuff out of it. And when you're walking through the train looking for a seat, you're not the p.i.a bumping into the folks already sitting in the seats on the train!

Great backpak. I ordered this for my 8 year old son who insited his bag be "cool". He loves it. It's sturdy, water bottles of just about any size fit in the side pocket and the strap on the front is great for keeping up with jackets, jerseys...
Would have given it five stars if the main compartment was a tad bigger. A 1 1/2" binder and 2 good size books fit but my impatient son has to work it in just so in order to zip it up. All in all, well worth the price.

This bag is a great if you work in the city and just need to carry around a few things to get you through the day. It is big enough to carry a couple of books, an ipod (with its own little side pocket), a water bottle (with its own side pocket as well), a small umbrella, glasses case and some other small things. It will not hold much more than that though (no laptops or lunch bags).
Aside from the size and convenience, it has some pretty big design flaws. I actually had to get my bag replaced within 2 days of having it because one of the side straps had ripped completely off and the main shoulder strap started to rip from the top of the bag. However, the seller ADVENTURER'S BAG replied back to me immediately and were very helpful when I asked to have the bag replaced. They sent me a prepaid shipping label, I put the bag in a box, and sent it to them. I got my replacement bag within a few days. The replacement bag has been holding together a lot better than the first one so far. There is some slight fraying of the shoulder strap though. This seems to be due to how the strap has been sewn to the bag. You just have to be careful to not overload the bag with too many heavy things.
The bag is great for working in the city, but the design flaws cause you to have to be a little more cautious than you want to be when on the go constantly. Adventurer's Bag is a great seller though, and were very helpful.

I'm a very picky shopper. I spent quite some time looking at various sling packs before deciding on this one. I used it for a week of hiking in Colorado but wanted something that could be used while traveling in the city also. The only complaint I have is that the water bottle holder is quite difficult to use while wearing the pack. If you are able to get your drink out, good luck getting it back in with the pack on. The water bottle holder is very secure however. The pack has little small features that increase security for traveling like the covered front pocket zipper and the fact that the clipped cinch on the side covers the small side pocket. It would be very difficult if not impossible for someone to get into you pack without you noticing long before they succeed. The pack was very comfortable for all day hikes. I'm totally satisfied. The pocket on the strap was just large enough to hold my Blackberry Storm once I took the case off. Any larger phone (in any dimension) would not have fit. I wouldn't recommend this for a larger laptop, but for stowing away hiking gear or trips to the gym, this pack can't be beat. The stretchable strap laced across the pack was invaluable on my trip for holding layers of clothing from a large coat to a couple of t-shirts. Again, I am totally satisfied.

This bag is compact and not made to replace a "book bag". The large pockets are triangular shaped so it will be obvious right away if something doesn't fit. A netbook or iPad, no problem. A large laptop, good luck.

I used this for a 3 week trip where I was hiking quite a bit and wanted to carry water, a jacket, my iPod, sunscreen, wallet, sunglasses, two pocket cameras, and some other odds and ends. I used up maybe half of the space available. This bag worked perfectly, not too big, not too small.

The zip up pocket that has the headphones hole, is almost impossible to be opened once the extra "cargo" strap is fastened over it - a good feature if you're worried about pick pockets. I used it to store my cash, wallet and passport while I was overseas in a "questionable" city.

I would recommend this bag if you want something that isn't too bulky. The extra straps on the outside are a good idea if you have something that doesn't quite fit.

The bag arrived on time and I use it for carrying exercising gears, but it also takes much more than that. The size is awesome.

I got this bag because I needed something to hold all of my gear. Ipod, kindle, 13 inch laptop. This backpack, small as it looks, holds all of those no problem. It really is the perfect size to slide in a 13 inch laptop. Has one big pocket, one medium size pocket, an ipod/mp3 pocket with an earbuds hole. To get stuff out of it, it's easy to slide under your left arm and unzip the bag. I love it and use it all the time.

I bought this for my husband who always has a bunch of stuff he is dragging around with him. He uses it everyday, to and from work, and it works great. Fits him well (he's just under 6 feet and broad) and holds all he needs it to: his lunch, large thermos of coffee, wallet, travel cup, etc... Also, very masculine looking and suitable for all ages, I believe. Great bag for a really great price!

Bought this for some summer travel (Boston, St Peteersburg), this was VERY handy to have. Great size, smaller than a "standard" backpack but larger than the Swiss Gear single strap bag I saw at Target. Fit my netbook, ipod, a book, flipflops, and some other stuff - whipped through the TSA checkpoints at Tampa, was not cumbersome whatsoever, and fit under the seat in front of me wicked easy! Handy zip pocket for the ipod (with an opening for the ear buds) that had a snap strap over the top of the zipper for added security. well worth the price!
