Great Activity Sheets!,

These cut & paste activities are really cute and provide useful practice. Skills included are: missing letters, short vowels, long vowels, compound words, contractions, ABC order, homophones, color words, shape words, nouns, verbs and more. I found this book very useful in my first grade classroom. I also have the cut and paste science book from this series, and recommend that one too. Overall, a good buy!

This book is great for my struggling students in first grade. I have found that when these students are active in their own work by cutting and gluing words, I get more from them. Pages have clear direction and they are able to complete on their own.
