not what I would have expected, October 22, 2010
This review is from: CUTTER'S WOMEN (Loveswept) (Hardcover)
I received a book that was a discard from a library and it had discard stamped all over it, not the quality of book I would care to add to my collection, I do not mind used books, but would like them to be clean, no stamping on them, no pockets in them and no broken backs this ones back had been broken, it had a pocket, and it had stamping all over it, not worth what I paid for it.

Deja Vu, March 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: CUTTER'S WOMEN (Loveswept) (Hardcover)
Obviously, Virginia Lynn is a fan of Rosemary Rogers. 'Cutter's Woman' is almost an exact replica of Rogers' 'Sweet Savage Love'. So much so that I felt Rogers should receive royalties for 'Cutter's Woman'. While 'Cutter' was not as suspenseful as 'Sweet Savage Love', it does contain historical facts that are difficult to ignore - the slaughtering of Native American villages, etc. I never fully connected with either of the characters, however, that may have been my oversight, due to the fact that I kept comparing the novel to Rogers novel. In my personal opinion, Virginia Lynn should be more creative when creating future novels.
