I did alot of research before I bought these. I am 50+ and a good skier with sore knees after a long day on the slopes. I have several long johns, compression tights, all were replaced by these Stabilyx 3/4 length tights. I was considering buying a knee brace, but don't need to now. Not too short (comes below the knee to stabilize it) and not too long (doesn't go into the ski boot and bunch up to cause blisters) and it fits well under ski pants or normal pants (I wear them when I officiate basketball games and I don't overheat). What can I say? WIN-WIN-WIN and I don't need Aleve afterward.

I have used these for both running and biking (with bike shorts underneath) in colder weather this fall. Fit is fantastic and warmth is perfect (not too cold, not too warm). Highly recommended!!

These have become my base layer while skiing. 3/4 length works perfect for skiing. I'm 6' 185 lbs and have bought both medium and large Stabilyx tights. I prefer the medium size because the large size seems a bit too high in the waist.
