5.0 out of 5 stars This Bra is Made for Running
I've always struggled to find a sports bra that is comfortable (lightweight and wicking) and supportive. This bra is both, and I'm a fan. It rinses out well in the sink, and I only put it in the washer about once a week. It has held up great with that care.
I really dislike sports bras with any sort of metal or plastic closure device (snaps, zips, hooks, etc)...

3.0 out of 5 stars Holds you in but seams on front show thru clothes.
5 - stars :This bra top is great at holding "you" in. It fits snug-ly and when I run, I don't bounce all around.

1- star: However, it's really high cut in the front. So if you wear a tank top over it, the white bra sticks above the tank. (Not in a cute way.) And there are two seams that go down the front that show very strongly through my clothes. So there...

5.0 out of 5 stars This Bra is Made for Running, April 7, 2009

I've always struggled to find a sports bra that is comfortable (lightweight and wicking) and supportive. This bra is both, and I'm a fan. It rinses out well in the sink, and I only put it in the washer about once a week. It has held up great with that care.
I really dislike sports bras with any sort of metal or plastic closure device (snaps, zips, hooks, etc) because I've found they cause chafing, and bruising if I'm doing situps and such. However, most of the sports bras for larger chests tend to include these elements. The CW-X Firm Support Bra doesn't, and it keeps my girls from aching after a long run. It's almost magic!
It is difficult to get this bra on and off, but with practice it becomes much easier. It gets easier if you're less sweaty, so it's good incentive to ensure you cool down properly after your run and stretch. If you don't want to deal with hooks or zippers, there isn't much alternative because if it stretched to take off easily, it would stretch when you didn't want it to also (while running).

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best I've Ever Had, April 9, 2010
This review is from: CW-X Women's Firm Support Running Bra (Apparel)
I have been a runner for over 24 years. I came up through the ranks (JogBra, Nike, In-Sport, etc). I have worn these bras for over four years now and I can tell you that this company has figured it out. If you do not want ANYTHING to move while running, this is the bra for you! It is hard to get on, but worth the effort. The firm support is perfect for B,C cups. They are pricey, but if you take good care of them, they will last.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great support but..., February 28, 2007

Getting this bra off after a sweaty workout is a HUGE struggle. I would liken it to getting out of a straitjacket. The bra construction is great for limiting bounce but I prefer the champion double dry instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally for average big busted women!, July 9, 2010

I have always had to use the two sport bra method when engaging in any running activity, and now that I am training for a half marathon my ladies needed complete support without having to pack on the layers. I finally got this earlier in the week and went for a run. Putting it on was a little challenge (go into it with patience), but it wasn't rocket science. It gives immediate support. The two cons I have are this: 1. It does have a little uni-boob action going and 2. Not the most attractive looking. I am not saying it is ugly, but if you are looking to be ultra sexy and have amazing support this bra isn't for you. Personally I don't like the top of the bra...it is too high for me. I would say a good 3 inches from my cleavage, but on the plus side there is no chaffing on the under arm from running.

Getting this bad boy off: You will need patience, and a warm down. I figured if it was a little challenging getting it on before I am sweaty, then it will be double the challenge getting it off. I waited an hour, just to not try my patience. It took a few solid second to shimmy out of it.

I fully recommend this sports bra...I wish they had other colors and designs (i.e. lower cut)in my size at the time of purchase.

Just to gauge others interested, since it was helpful when I read the reviews: I am a 34D, 5'7", 130 pounds (was 140 ;^> )

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome bra for big boobies, April 3, 2010
By
I have worn this bra before and loved it; started training for a marathon and realized I needed more of them so I ordered this one. still great, I can get away with wearing only one bra instead of two like I normally would have too. plan to purchase more of them in the future.

4.0 out of 5 stars Keeps "the girls" in place, but..., July 20, 2011

I don't run, but I do Spinning class 3x/week (which does make things bounce!) and just tried this bra for the first time this morning. This bra was relatively easy to put on but I'm still wearing it and afraid to attempt taking it off! :) Like some of the other reviewers, I like that there aren't any snaps or hooks to wear out or dig into my skin.

My biggest complaint is one I have about other sports bras I've tried: the dreaded "uniboob" effect, where everything is smooshed together and flattened out. Also, because of the placement of the front seams and thickness of the material, the bra gives an unflattering silhouette under clothes...I'm wearing a black t-shirt and can see the seams clearly. And I'm not--nor will I probably ever be--the type to wear a sports bra by itself as a top. :P

So... When/if I do start running, I'll probably reach for this bra or something similar because nothing is moving!! Just have to put up with the unappealing aesthetics.

4.0 out of 5 stars Finally, September 30, 2010

I purchased this bra about a month ago now and find it's one of the best one's I've tried. It holds the girls very well and isn't too much of the "uniboob" look. My only issue is the chafing on my collarbone on the left side. I'll have to try some Aquaphor one of these times to see if it helps.

3.0 out of 5 stars Holds you in but seams on front show thru clothes., August 24, 2010

So there are two lines showing exactly where my bra is. Not cool.

This is the 2nd bra from CW-X that I have purchased. Both have these problems. Great at holding you in. But not discreet! They are very high cut and the seams protrude through my clothes on top. Will continue trying other brands to see if I can find one that fits my needs better.

It supports me well even through pavement running. Most of all I like the high-quality material this is made of, CoolMax and Lycra, keeping me cool through summer runs while maintaining the comfort. Very true to size also. I didn't know this when I was buying it here but apparently CW-X's parent company is Wacoal, a lingerie brand I trust--i.e. these people know what they are making for women and is even more appealing to me. I plan to buy some more.
