Sports bra technology has sure come a long way from the "Jog Bra" of the late 70's. This bra makes the most of the new fabrics and support systems. I was skeptical of how much support I'd get from this bra, because it just didn't look very supportive (i.e. doesn't have 14 hook and eye fasteners like my Enell bras!!), but I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It's a great no-bounce, no-chafe high impact bra.
The only criticism I have is that it's a pull-over, which is a #@$*# pain when you're sweaty, and the back slide hook can only be fastened behind your back, so beware if you have shoulder issues (however, I've had shoulder surgery, and with some practice, I've been able to fasten it with reasonable ease). I wear the 38D, which apparently runs a little bit big, as I wear a 42D or DD in a regular bra. I couldn't say if this is true of the smaller sizes also. It does give a bit of the "mono boob" effect, though not nearly so much as an Enell. Moving Comfort's Maia bra gives more separation plus a lot of support if you're worried about that sort of thing.

Now you too can run like an endomorph - ZERO MOVEMENT,
By Not only that, it even looks perfectly good as a bra top, if you want to forgo the shirt (Not the white one). Now you too can run like an endomorph.

bra is great once you get it on and snapped on the back. Taking it off, especially after a good workout is even a greater challenge. Design was not good. Needs two people to put on and take off. Keep looking ladies and be sure to see if the back design would be something you could do yourself.

I wish I would have believed the other reviewers who wrote about the problems they had with the bra. This is the most difficult bra to get on. You must put it over your head and smash your boobs up from the bottom of the bra to get it on. The fit is poor and you will have a big lump across your chest where your boobs should be. I paid way too much money for this bra and am very disappointed.

Although I am easily able to get this product on - ie: it is the correct size - It is impossible for the back hook to be fastened without another pair of hands????? One is not able to get it on with the hook pre-fastened; one is not able to turn the garment slightly to the side to be able to reach the hook & fasten it once the thing is on. . . . . .it appears to be made exceptionally well, looks to be able to stand up to machine washings & would undoubtedly give good support for a high level aerobic activity - if one could just hook that darn hook in the back once you have it on!!!!

I am in the military and run almost daily. I also happen to be well-endowed. I found this bra based on a review of a fitness magazine because I am constantly looking for a sports bra that keeps me from bouncing. This is the first and only one I have ever found. It was amazing. It was the first time I ran without feeling my whole top half get flopped unpleasantly by a mixture of impact and gravity. I'm sold. Well worth the high price for me to eliminate the problem. I am a DDD, but fit in a DD of this bra.

Purchased this bra for my daughter who is 40DD, and she loves to dance. She needed something to provide a lot of support and this has proven to be more than enough. It does fit tight, but she gets the support she needs. Fit true to size.

This probably works great for some body types, but not mine. The construction seems great, but I really could not get this article on and clipped to really try it out.
First - it's really industrial strength - which is a very good thing, but it also means that it's difficult to stretch the material to fasten the clip behind your back (like you could do with a regular bra). If you're very agile, this won't be a problem. If you're more muscular than flexible, this can be an issue. Second - another option is to clip the bra and then pull it on over your head. For people with narrow shoulders this could work, but I have broad shoulders and there was no way that would work for me. Third - although it was a struggle, and very uncomfortable, I could put it on unclipped and have someone else clip it for me and then unclip it after my workout. I had visions of being comically trapped on my bra if my husband left for work before I got back from my run so I decided to send it back instead of risking it.

Superior support,

I run a couple of days a week and I am always looking for a better supporting bra than those that are generally available in sporting goods stores or department stores. At first I was a little leery of buying a bra online when I couldn't feel how strong it was or know what the sizing was like. The sizing seems accurate. I probably could have gone up an entire cup size without being uncomfortable, but I could not go down a size and still be able to breathe.
At first this support bra made me feel like my chest had been encased in cement. I have worn bindings around my chest while I was traveling alone in India dressed in men's clothing. (It was just easier.) But even being wrapped that tightly was nothing like this bra. This bra encases you all around. There is no flexibility. One of the best things about it, other than the superior support, is that the straps don't fall down. Usually bra straps don't fall down because they are too tight but this has a wide strap. I can also put my hand under the strap pretty easily. HOWEVER and this is a big one, why oh why must running bras push your breasts together? That's where I keep my phone and I can't do it with this on --not unless I want to call everyone in my contacts list. How embarrassing would that be? "Yes, I'm sorry, my right breast called you this afternoon. Tomorrow you may be called by my left breast. It all depends on your position in my contacts list." |
