3.0 out of 5 stars Do you like to breathe?
I don't know why these other ladies would say this bra is too tight... it's really only a problem if you like to breathe. Honestly, this bra is unhealthily tight. I went two sizes above what I normally wear, but then most bra companies don't know much about sizing and fitting, and that's precisely why I ordered as large as I did. I ordered their largest cup size too,...

4.0 out of 5 stars definitely no bounce, June 5, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
When I first got this bra it was too tight and hard to zip up. I have worn it a few times now and it has stretched out a bit, but I recommend you buying a size up in the cup size if you like to be able to breath. It is a great bra to run in because there is definitely no chest movement. I ran today for a mile with it on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best sports bra....EVER!, August 28, 2009
This review is from: CW-X Women's Xtra Support Zip Running Bra (Apparel)
This is the best sports bra I've ever purchased b/c of the support it provides, wicking material, how easy it is to put on & take off after a hard workout, and how comfortable the bra feels on your skin. I have tried other bras, but this is the bra I'll be buying from now on to run, bike, hike or power walk in. I prefer the snug fit b/c it minimizes the bounce factor, but if you aren't used to a front zipper bra, then you should purchase one size up from your actual bra size.

3.0 out of 5 stars Do you like to breathe?, April 28, 2010

I went two sizes above what I normally wear, but then most bra companies don't know much about sizing and fitting, and that's precisely why I ordered as large as I did. I ordered their largest cup size too, and yet the cups are not large enough (and ladies - and gents - I'm not that big!). Maybe I should do a video review to show you what I mean... or maybe not.

I thought of keeping it at first; I thought I could wear it out to dinner and it would keep me from eating too much - or maybe at all.

However, it is well constructed and made of great materials, so I am going to send it back and try one three sizes too big, or maybe even four!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, January 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This bra has a more comfortable fit than the Champion bras I have been using. I ran 4.5 miles in in today and I had less movement in my chest than my older, much-used sports bras (the newest ones are over 3 years old, the oldest are over 6 years old). It was 30 degrees out and my chest wasn't cold or too sweaty, unlike the rest of me.
I am a 34C and I ordered the black 36B/C since it was the smallest size and other comments recommended going up in band size. That was a great idea. I had trouble zipping it up at first, but the bra has a liner that keeps the zipper from pinching your skin (yay!). This and the front zipper itself are wonderful for avoiding shoulder strain and stretched material when I take it on and off.
When running I prefer to have as little movement as possible, but still be able to breathe. This bra accomplished this better than any other I've tried.
Unfortunately, it is expensive, but I fully expect the zipper design to make it last longer than pull-over bras. Very satisfied.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Comfort and Support!!!, December 11, 2009

This review is from: CW-X Women's Xtra Support Zip Running Bra (Apparel)
I have finally found the perfect 'hanging around the house' sports bra. I LOVE the zipper!!! So easy to put on. I have had zipper kind of sports bras before but they all were terrible ~ not supportive. This bra has 'structure' to it for support but is like wearing nothing at all. It is also sort of cute. It makes me feel like I look good even in my lounge clothes! LOL I also use this for exercise and again the support is outstanding. This sports bra is so comfortable and supportive that I have even considered wearing it as a "regular" bra. I am a 38DD regular but I ordered the 40DD CW-X bra and it fits like a glove.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Sports Bra, July 7, 2009
By
Nsandz (Austin, TX) - See all my reviews
This is a good sports bra, nothing moves and the air flow is nice. I go on long cycling rides and it has performed well for me. It is great having the zipper in front, once I am done riding I am glad not to have to deal with clasps behind my back. Also, it looks normal under my jersey unlike other sports bras I have tried.

The only thing that I have a problem with (and another review mentioned this) is that it is very tight, I would recommend one size up. It has not really "stretched" out for me yet either. Also, the first time putting it on I had a lot of trouble with the zipper, but I think this was due to it being tight.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Support but Starts to Feel Like a Blanket, March 15, 2011
This review is from: CW-X Women's Xtra Support Zip Running Bra (Apparel)
I am torn on this bra.
The side of me that is sick of feeling my chest ache after running, and who gets embarrassed if I wear a non-supportive bra in the gym on the elliptical absolutely loves the minimal bounce when I wear this bra. I think I notice all of about an inch of up and down movement, and the 'girls' feel very well encapsulated and constrained. I don't notice the movement when I'm running, which is quite unusual. I don't think you'll find many sports bras that are as supportive and movement controlling.
The side of me that loves my lightweight high tech workout clothes hates the feeling that I am wearing a small blanket under my top. I wish there was a way to have the same support with a bra that feels less like wearing an iron lung. The neckline comes up very high, and actual shows at the bottom of the V-neck for some of my running shirts, which is awkward because then the zipper pokes out and it just looks bizarre.
I do like the zipper because it helps me ensure that the bra is super snug because I don't have to worry about yanking it over my head after a workout. (Anyone who has tugged and fought sweaty sports bras in a humid hot locker room will appreciate how this saves a good deal of your dignity.)
I have finally decided to relegate this bra exclusively to high impact activities (running, soccer, basketball), because the extra support is great but the blanket feeling is too much for activities where I can get away with less support and more breathability (yoga, weight training).

4.0 out of 5 stars A great bra!, January 11, 2011
This is a great bra for running and working out! I am a size 36D normally, but I read the other reviews which suggested ordering a size up to avoid the bra being too tight, so I ordered the 38D; I wish I had gotten the 36D.
Though the 38D was snug when I first put it on, I think it will become looser than I'd like when it starts to stretch a bit. I wish I had gotten my true size because I like a really snug fit for cardio workouts, but even with the 38D size, I'm still wearing it and getting decent support. I really like the straps because they fit higher up on your shoulder and take a bit of the pressure off. Overall a great product and highly recommended! If I had it to do over, I'd get my true bra size for a truly snug fit over time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing for large bust!, October 23, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: CW-X Women's Xtra Support Zip Running Bra (Apparel)
I ordered 1 band size up per reviews. ( Wear a 36DD and got 38DD) Inital try on was hard to zip up but wore it around the house for about 2 hours and its great! No bounce, heave ho or ugh feeling. The cups cover all of the chest and no need to hook and adjust as with other bra's. It doesnt come up too high. Covers lots of area and talk about spandex! The siloutte it creates is flattering, (not the uni boob) and the protection is outstanding! HIGHLY recommend! It is cut low on the sides so it doesnt dig under the arms.
I have the Enell too and others and love the zip up of this one. I dont think I could comfortably get the other CW-x styles over my head. I am ordering another one in white. These work great for Zumba, kickingboxing, weight training, circuit training and running. No flop. Also doesnt absorb sweat like my others do. Stays dry.
