With it's Rockchip 3188 quad core SOC the CX-919 performs extremely well for me.
I do all the multimedia stuff like Netflix -no problem.
I run emulators for retro gaming -no problem

It's good and it's inexpensive, so go for it.

I bought this to replace my MK808 which did not support bluetooth.
This item worked better than the MK808. Video quality was good, and the device response speed was excellent.
However, after 1 month it stopped working completely. No signal at all.

Waste of money and shipping efforts.

I bought this item as an upgrade to a dual core HDMI mini PC. After all, two more cores, external antenna, Bluetooth, why not? Well there is a blue smear that appears on the screen as if the blue video component is being overdriven and there is no adjustment available. The Playstore app only works some of the time. When trying to stream a TV show, I get a warning that says I must disconnect the HDMI cable which, of course, shuts down the unit. DO NOT BUY. I'm will be returning this unit

I use this Android TV almost every day, after a little customizing it is the perfect accessory for watching Netflix, youtube, listening to Pandora, and playing games. My favorite features of this device are the wifi antenna, and the Bluetooth capability. I recently purchased another Android mini TV, and the wifi was horrible. I always have a strong connection with this device, even being about fifteen feet away from the router on the floor above me. Also, this android device runs very smoothly, switching between games and playing hd videos.

pros- Sturdy device, Bluetooth, wifi antenna, quad core speedy, HDMI adapter male-female included

cons- Buffers once in a while on youtube and Netflix, but fixes easily with adjusting the antenna

Purchased this unit strictly so I could stream HBO GO. Works very well. The interface works great with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I originally was using a mini handheld keyboard that didn't work very well. Driver support was non-existent. Pretty awesome and would recommend over a ROKU Box any day.

When my wife was pregnant, we bought 2 of these so each set of grandparents can Skype with us and see the baby comfortably in their living rooms. Combined them with a Logitech C170 webcam, a wireless air mouse, and a USB hub to add the extra port needed. Works great! Both of the grandparents were able to set them up mainly with the set of instructions I threw in the box, and 1 or 2 "tech support" calls to me to answer questions. I also pre-loaded each with apps like Netflix and Hulu which they've used occasionally without issue as well.

Con: Without going into how different Android devices use memory, this unit uses the 1G of "memory" to install apps onto and then 6G as the "SD" Card. Which means you are using the same memory to run the app as you are that stores all apps (unless the app has the option to install on SD card which still leaves some of the program in resident memory). Then if you install an SD card it is like a second "drive" you can only save files to and not use as active memory. So the more apps you install the less of the 1G memory you have. I am having to go into settings moving the apps to SD card or uninstalling the app all together because I don't absolutely need it and it is taking up the memory the unit uses to run apps.

Ran Passmark Benchmark test and the stats were not overwhelming, did great on crunching numbers but were really bad on 2D Graphics, Memory Management and average on 3d Graphics. So the 4 core was working great but did not have any good supporting parts to make it a real bargain. As a result I could see why, when streaming HBOGo it is a little choppy, Netflix is better. Cannot install many apps (device is incompatible) such as Crackle.

A couple of times the screen messed up after changing input to another device and changed back. Causing me to have to reboot the device.

Pro: The device is as advertised, works great with a Logitech Keyboard K400, I don't have to go anywhere when my wife and I disagree about some minor trivia and have to consult Google to see who is right, which is great because my Roku and AppleTV cannot do... (even my XBOX takes forever to try and type and do a simple search).
