The quality of the AMP is very good, covers the spectrum very well, but the power to the Subwoofer below claimed power, probably the claimed RMS is much below the stated level.

The amp is small enough to fit almost anywhere and it sounds good. I was able to adjust the power of the sound to how I wanted it.

this amp is junk, i tried out 2 and they both burned. i could not return the first one because it passed the 30 days because i was trying to get it work. so i got another one thinking the first one might be just a bad one or i did something wrong and burned it. so i check everything and make sure every wire is right. then hook up the power and turn on the radio, it burned out right away. the first one at least lasted a few hours. send it back and went to walmart got a sony 4ch amp hook up the same wires the same way, no problem at all, just work. the sony amp is $100 but it works.

I purchased this product from amazon 11/09. This is a fairly good amp--you get what you pay for. Easy to install--with good terminals. It is a little wide--not really meant for indash installation (which I have done).

This amplifier looks nice and arrived quickly but the actual product is lacking in performance. When trying to power a small subwoofer it struggles and can't perform as expected.

I got this because I wanted something that would play my stuff loud and not struggle at it. I also bought boss front and rear speakers and a cable wiring kit. It took me around 3 days off and on to install it but after it was installed I'm very pleased with it. I can turn my stereo up to eleven and I don't get any distortion just a smooth sound.

I purchased this Boss 400 Watt, 4 ch AMP to give the factory speakers a little boost. However after installation and only about 5 hours of use the AMP quit. We tested everything to be sure it was not a short or some electrical error and after testing the setup with another AMP we discovered the Boss AMP was not working. Now I am stuck with an AMP that does not work and have wasted $50. I took the advice of several car audio experts and went with a better brand AMP. STAY AWAY FROM THESE BOSS AMPS!! Its better to make a good investment than to keep wasting your money on cheap deals.
