This subwoofer is not worth the little bit of money it costs. got it all hooked up and it blew right off the bat. lasted about 20 seconds. I made sure my amp was wired right and the ohms matched and everything. had the gain and freq down all the way. all wiring was correct. started to turn up the gain and didnt even get half way and the sub quit. blown all the way. what a waste

overal its a great built speaker. a rubber ring around the magnet and the rim helps prevent puncturing! takes a lot of power to push it but great! do not use for a stock tahoe replacement sub!

i bought this woofer for a 1999 FORD EXPLORER LIMITED. the explorer has a stock subwoofer enclosure and an amp. i was hoping this would fit perfectly but the holes were a tad off from the 8 inch factorys subwoofer. i ended up drilling new holes and it works great.

the quality of this woofer is pretty good. bumps nice with a low-wattage amp like i have. if you are going to get this for an explorer, order the legacy woofer.

this was so good speaker i could sat even it was small its has bass i like this and shipped was fast ,i recieve it and hook it up tried it i was amazed with small speaker ,

For the price, this subwoofer cannot be beat. It has a very good frequency response range and program output power. One drawback of this subwoofer though is that it uses tab terminals instead of spring-loaded terminals.

Had these hooked up, correctly, and they blew in a matter of minutes! Thank God I didn't spend any more money than this. If it wasn't for the fact that it would cost me more than what these are worth I would've sent them back. I'm not blaming Amazon for this, but they should be more careful on the products that they buy.

OMG OMG THESE THINGS ROCK. I HAVE NEVER HEARD BASS SO LOUD IN MY LIFE. I MEAN ITS NUTS REALLY. THESE NEED TO BE RATED UP THERE WITH THE ALPINE TYPE X AND W6. WOW JUST WOW. FOR 16 BUCKS. COME ON BOSS, YOU NEED TO CHARGE AT LEAST 400 A SUB FOR THESE BAD BOYS.
