I love this case. The pi fits snug in the bottom shell and the top shell clasps tightly. All of the openings are machined nicely and line up perfectly. The slot for the GPIO ribbon cable fits better than expected. I am using an adafruit pi breakout cable. Note that a non-right-angled ribbon cable may not fit out of the slot properly. The case also has nice screw mount points on the bottom that I am using to secure the base to a chassis platform. All in all, I felt this case was worth the additional money. There are a few cases on the market that are less expensive, but after reading all of the reviews I am very happy I went with this specific case.

This case worked out great and fit on perfectly to a model B Raspberry Pi. I would recommend this if you're looking for a case without all the JTAG and Camera cutouts but still allowing you access to the GPIO pins when using a breakout board/cable for them.

This case is a perfect fit for a Raspberry Pi model B. Its fit and finish seem to be of good quality. It looks great--gives this hobbyist platform a slick professional appearance.

Using/installing your Raspberry Pi with this case involves four small screws. Get a good screwdriver and be patient while putting it together.

If you're planning on frequently opening up the case of your Raspberry Pi to physically access its hardware, this is probably not the best case for you. Those four small screws dig their own thread into spaces in the case made for that purpose. This means that frequently disassembling and re-assembling this case will very possibly wear out said spaces, eventually.

It fits my needs perfectly, and I recommend it.

The case arrived packaged in a simple plastic bag with a sticker on it in a padded envelope. It arrived safely, and contained all the parts (2 sides, 4 screws). The case is made to work for both the A and B version of the Raspberry Pi, so it does not matter which you have. If you have the A version, you only have one USB port, and no Ethernet port, so there are knockout covers in place to cover these areas. If you have the B version, you will need to remove these pieces. They are easily removed by hand, although I used a pair of cutters and a fingernail file to make clean cuts and remove any extra bits. This is actually overkill however since even if there were some stray bits left from the knockout, they would not be in a position to cut you or interfere with the function of the case. I like the fact that this case has plastic/fiber-optic pathways from the board LEDs to the top of the case to help you tell which LED is in fact lit, with labels for each light printed on the case. There is a slight amount of light bleed-over still, but aside from coating the sides of each fiber optic pathway (which you could easily do with fingernail polish or some hobby paint) you won't completely eliminate bleed-over. Like I said, still a very nice touch, and one of the reasons I picked this case over others.

The bottom of the case is smooth, with 2 recessed keyholes to allow you to mount it once you have your PI inside, which is a nice touch as well. The SD card slot was a little tight on mine, but that could easily be remedied with a fingernail file if needed. Still, I was able to use it as-is with no problems, just mentioning it was a little tight. This could be because I use a MicroSD in an adapter instead of a native SD Card, so no stars or dings for that. I felt the case was very reasonably priced.

The case is exactly what I was looking for. It fits my Model B (512) perfectly and looks great.

My only gripe is that the case had a large barcode inventory sticker stuck right on the front (see user pics). Peeling off this sticker resulted in a large square of adhesive that was very difficult to remove. The case also came in a plastic bag. Why not just put the sticker on the BAG instead of the product itself?

It's such a nice case, it was just disappointing to see it arrived "pre-defaced".

This case fits any model of Raspberry Pi very well (with very close tolerances); for the model B, with it's RJ-45 plug and extra USB port, you need to use a screwdriver or pliers to pop off a couple little pieces of protective plastic.

Putting it together is easy enough (just put the Pi in the bottom case, and cover it with the top case)--that is, until you screw in the four included metal screws! The screws don't go in very well--and I think it's because the plastic screw standoffs they go into are not pre-tapped. You can feel a ton of resistance the whole time you tighten the screw.

I used a phillips #1 driver to carefully, slowly screw in the screws, and was able to screw them in without stripping the heads. Go slow, and hold onto the case tightly!

Once the case is on, you don't have access to the GPIO pins, or the camera plug, but you can get to all the 'external' ports, and the LEDs shine through the indicators very clearly. I like the black case, because it's relatively discreet compared to the mostly clear/translucent cases found elsewhere.

The Raspberry fits perfectly in it and the case is made with good quality materials. The only problem I see is that the screws are made of aluminium and seem to fragile.
