5.0 out of 5 stars Great UPS! and voltage regulator!, February 7, 2003

This review is from: CYBERPOWER Office Power 1250AVR Automatic Voltage Regulator (Electronics)
The best part about this UPS is it's a voltage regulator too! If the power dips or spikes, the battery kicks in supplying regulated power to my system. Electronic equipment strongly dislikes quick power outages, dipes, and spikes!!

The powerpanel plus software, although having some strange defaults, works great under XP! I can see clearly how much power I'm currently using percentage wise, and if power were to go out right now at this power usage, how long I'd have backup power.

With two loaded Athlon PCs and one 19" monitor, I'm running around 45% load with 15-20 minutes backup time. With only one PC and a newer monitor (this one is ... 4 years old) I can imagine the backup time being atleast 30 minutes.

I'm using one for my Athlon server and I just ordered a second for my main PC and Sony receiver system.
