The LCX-425T owes its compact, user-friendly design to its open-front structure, which keeps the hood cover from getting in the way of a natural stride. This unobstructed path maximizes the treadmill's usable running area, a must for runners with smaller workout spaces. The treadmill ups the ante, however, with its Intelligent Suspension (IS3) deck. So smart it matches the runner's stride, the IS3 is unlike traditional floating decks, which can cause instability in a runner's gait. Instead, the IS3 absorbs the impact of landing where it occurs--it's soft at landing, hard in the middle, and rigid at toe-off, helping it precisely match the body mechanics of a runner.

The LCX-425T is also smooth at any speed thanks to the 3.0-horsepower motor with Pulse Width Modulation. The PWM feature combines with the rugged 2.75-inch rollers to guarantee exceptionally smooth operation whether you're walking casually or running hard. Plus, the treadmill's solid steel construction is vibration-free, so it'll feel every bit as stable as more expensive models. And runners will love the little details, such as the split-level consoles designed to match the way you use a treadmill, the pair of water bottle holders, the magazine rack and tabs, and the utility tray.

The LCX-425T challenges you with a variety of workout options, including nine preset programs with 10 levels each.
