Product works well, but comes with no manual, no instructions as to how to change the 2 lithium batteries or their replacement number or type. Product is not listed on company's web site (www.cyclopssolutions.com) and email sent to customer support was rejected.

Hi. I just wanted to mention that the last reviewer was partially correct. On the Cyclops Solution website there is NO pictures/links to order any products for the Book Owl. However, if you click on the contact us link, there is a 1-888 number that you can use to call customer service. The two *called on two different occassions* representatives that I talked to were friendly and explained that they would be happy to answer any questions you had regarding the product. My reason for calling was to order an AC adapter for the Scholar Book Owl, which I believe is also known as the Executive Book Owl on amazon.com's site. I can't comment on this product, but see my review on the Executive Book Owl.

Just so you know. I have no affiliation with Cyclops Solutions. I am merely a bookworm. :)

This product is absolutely aweful. It barely lights up a few lines of text and it feels really cheap.
